Emerson Career Site is Hiring a Sales Compensation Analyst Near Boulder, CO

If you are a SALES COMPENSATION ANALYST professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, working within our Finance team you will manage variable Sales & Marketing compensation plans, payouts, reporting, and analysis working closely with Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance. 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage variable compensation plans
  • Administer compensation application platform 
  • Process incentive compensation calculations, approvals, and publish sales compensation reports
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc analysis and reporting including compensation forecasts
  • Data validation, auditing, and trouble-shooting
  • Participate in projects and teams related to compensation and standardizing procedures with other business units 
Who You Are:
You are analytical, with financial and business acumen abilities using strong written and oral communication skills. You demonstrate ethical behavior and instill trust. Ability to work independently, problem solve, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Financial discipline required
  • Two (2) to four (4) or more years of relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States 
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to create and troubleshoot complex formulas, efficiently work with and manage large data sets
  • Experience with Oracle 
  • Power BI experience beneficial

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $79,333-90,667 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. 

Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to-end development, from onboarding through senior leadership. We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training
